Membership Categories

Playing Members: All Playing Members shall be entitled to: 

• all the playing and other privileges and advantages of membership of the Club; 
• full or limited use of the Club’s green or greens, as determined by the Board and as otherwise limited by the Bowls New Zealand Regulations and the Centre Regulations; 
• hold office in the Club; 
• speak and vote at General Meetings of the Club; 
• enter any bowling competition, tournament, or match held by the Club in accordance with any specific rules for the competition, tournament, or match; and  
• if selected, represent the Club in competitions, tournaments, and matches. 

First Year Playing Members: All First Year Playing Members shall be entitled to: 

• Have the same rights as Full Playing Members.

Limited Playing Members: All Limited Playing Members shall be entitled to:

• be entitled to such privileges and advantages of membership of the Club as determined by the Board; 
• be entitled to play in approved bowls events within the boundary of the physical club; 
• not be entitled to participate in club, centre or national events that progress to a centre or national championship; 
• be entitled to participate in any event at any other bowling club, provided the other bowling club permits such participation; 
• be entitled to hold office in the Club; and 
• be entitled to speak and vote at General Meetings of the Club. 

Non-Playing Members: All Non-Playing Members shall be entitled to: 

• such privileges and advantages of membership of the Club as determined by the Board; 
• hold office in the Club; and 
• speak with approval of the chairperson but not vote at General Meetings of the Club. 

Casual Members: Every Casual Member is entitled to: 

• play in the event(s) for which they have registered; 
• participate in other non-playing activities at the Club as determined by the Board; and 
• attend and speak at General Meetings of the Club if permitted to do so (by the Board or by the person chairing the General Meeting) but Casual Members are not entitled to vote at General Meetings; 
• use the club facilities for the one-off bowling event/function or the specified limited period of the event/function for which they are registered. 

Students:

• ​​​​​​​Those playing members 19 years of age and under.
• Have the same rights as Full Playing Members.

Subscriptions for the 2024/2025 season are:

Playing Members ......................$200

First year playing Members.......$100

Limited Playing Members:........$60

Casual Member ........................$30

Student Member ......................$20
